Button Colour Adventure Part 2

Button Colour Adventure at www.elistonbutton.com - Eliston Button - That Crafty Kid

Hello there my lovely Buttoneers! I bring to you today the second instalment of my Button Colour Adventures where I share my current colour inspirations from adventures I have been on recently. Do you remember the first Button Colour Adventure back in the summer? I adventured out last week and found that Autumn is in full swing in the shops (and in the weather)

This time around I fell in love with the deep rich colours of the first signs of Autumn, the promise of snuggles under thick woollen blankets sipping from a mug of hot chocolate, the memories of crunchy leaves underfoot whilst collecting treasures of  smooth glossy conkers…

Come on a Button Colour Adventure and see some of the super inspiring colour palettes I discovered

How fabulous are those colours!? I love love love those gorgeous and cheerful tins in Homesense, they are hand-painted in India and are just to die for. I loved that they matched perfectly with the Autumnal hues of the chunky throws and blankets that they sell there too. The rich russet browns and crisp burnt oranges are so beautiful and are true to the Autumn themes, making me want to curl up with a huge mug of tea and a good book!

I also fell in love with the deep purple tartan and the warm soft greys. How beautiful is the pin-tuck one!? They match perfectly with the fabulous abstract canvas I discovered. I am not normally a huge fan of abstract art but this one grabbed me with its energy and colour explosion on the canvas. I seriously had to tear myself away from those huge knitted poufs too! I wonder if I could knit one big enough?

What is your favourite colour palette from my Button Colour Adventure? What colours make you think of Autumn? Do you have a favourite thing to do in this beautiful season? I would love to hear all about it!
