Hello Buttoneers! Can you believe that the last Button Colour Adventure was right back in September!? Blimey! Where has this year gone? Here are Part One and Part Two

As I was wandering around like a lost child at the start of my Christmas shopping (I am hopeless until I buy my first gift and then I turn in to super shopper and get really organised! Anyone else like this?) I was taken in by the magic of Christmas.

I am always mesmerised by the lights, the sparkly decorations and the colours of Christmas that surround me wherever I go…

…So what better than to document them this year in a Button Colour Adventure.

It will be interesting to see if/how they change over the years too, to possibly see tends and waves in styles and designs, to see whether or not I can resist buying one of those teal glass bottles to stand next to one of those gorgeous glittery trees that I may just have to purchase, or indeed resist the temptation of buying one of those adorable Christmas gnomes!

We shall see, but for now, be swept away with me on a trail of colour, glitter and Christmas imagination…

I love love love these baubles! They are so happy and bright and colourful. If you look closely you can spot a little mini-me inside a few of them! hehe! They were all stuck together to form a huge cone shaped tree, all made up of these merry little baubles! It was so effective but also super expensive! Can you imagine how long it would take to make…oooo now there’s an idea! Bring it on Christmas 2015!

Look how pretty a pastel Christmas theme would be too! It looks so girly! I might have a job persuading my fiancé to this though, although he is very understanding about my love for pink, I do drive a pink Vespa after all!

I think this would also be fabulous for a winter wedding colour palette too but I would maybe add some warmer colours! Brrr!

You just can’t beat traditional reds, whites and greens can you!? I love them and that “Baby its Cold Outside” cushion was really lovely. I adore the reds and whites together in this palette too; they give a real crisp Scandinavian feel to it all. Those adorable little husky puppies were mechanical too and moved there fluffy heads next to the sleigh! How Christmasy!

I have to say as well, after years of not being a lover of the colour gold, I am a little obsessed with it this year, especially when it is paired with black or warm purples and navy blues.

It has such an elegant and glamorous air of sophistication and I am especially in love with gold glitter…What’s not to love!

I am so taken in by these magical colours. I t is amazing how just a few colour pallets can totally transform your mood or your feelings just like that. I am feeling super Christmasy now and might just have to dig out the mince pies…okay…I know exactly where they are…fine…but it was only one! hehe!

What are your favourite colours this Christmas? Do you have a specific colour theme for your decorations? Maybe you just throw it all together in a mix of everything you love? I would love to hear all about it!
