Hello there Buttoneers! After a week hating technology for failing me (seriously my phone and laptop in quick succession) I am back with No.1 in my Create 28 craft blog challenge! How exciting!
If you missed my post, I am starting a brand new birthday challenge. Much like last years ’27 before 27′ blog challenge, I will be making 28 different crafty items for the Eliston Button Etsy Shop before I turn 28 in June. You can read more about the crafty goodness over here
Anyhoo, without further ado my lovelies…GIFT TAGS!
The idea for No.1 out of 28 came to me when I was wrapping my Christmas presents and searched everywhere for pretty gift tags to complete the beautifully wrapped goodies. I just couldn’t find anything that I liked and then it hit me…duh! Come on Crafty Kid!
So I made my own and loved them. So naturally the huge crafty part of my little brain started running away with ideas and designs and colours and patterns.
I was excited. That right there was how I knew I
wanted HAD to make more of them for the first crafty project for my Etsy shop.
It has been a while after the stresses of last year since I have felt creative and excited about it, I was so happy to be back there.
I broke down my ten thousand (okay…okay…maybe it wasn’t quite that many!) ideas and simplified them to using brown/kraft coloured tags and a crisp white ink to create a range of tags that I am proud of. Each design is of something that means something to me and can be so versatile for each occasion, celebration or even when you treat yourself!
I have six different designs so far and still can’t pick a favourite! I’ll see what you think…
Each brown/kraft gift tag is ready strung and hand illustrated with House/Home design in a crisp white ink which really stands out and catches your eye, complete with punched star detail at the tags edge.
They are 12×6 cm in size and there are 3 tags in each pack.
The tags will complete your beautifully wrapped gifts and your friends and family will want to save them as a lasting keepsake of loveliness.
The back of the gift tags are left blank so that you can add your own personal message. Each set of three gift tags will be beautifully packaged to you so that the strings don’t get all tangled. They will be packaged in a cellophane bag, wrapped in tissue paper and posted in a bubble wrap lined envelope to ensure they arrive at your door safe and sound, for added piece of mind.
What do you think!? I am so excited to launch my first product in my Create 28 blog challenge into the Eliston Button Etsy Shop. You can find these designs in the shop tomorrow!
I would love to hear your thoughts. What designs would you like to see on future gift tags? Don’t forget that you can order custom items from the left hand side of the shop. What do you like to add to your gifts to make them super pretty? Which is your favourite of my tags? I can’t wait to hear all about it!
Meet me for a chat with a cup of tea in the comments below. I’ll click the kettle on!
