Hello there Buttoneers! I am popping in today to share with you my fabric carrier bag holder tutorial. When we first moved in to our new house we had a lot of carrier bags that we had used to wrap around mugs and plates etc when we ran out of bubble wrap. So, when we had unwrapped it all we were inundated with carrier bags that we could easily re-use and recycle for our shopping bags. So whilst playing around with the Janome 140M sewing machine in my “Sew Good! – This Hobbycraft Sewing Machine” post, I whipped up this quick and easy fabric carrier bag holder…and naturally photographed my step by step progress to share with you all!
I would love to see how you got on with this tutorial! Some Buttoneers send me photos of their makes and I love to see them, so feel free to email them across!
What sort of fabric would you have used? I love this crisp white cotton fabric with printed gold sun and stars. I am also in love with the gold cotton thread! What colour cotton thread is your favourite at the moment? I would love to hear all about it!
Meet me for a chat with a cup of tea in the comments below. I’ll click the kettle on!
