Hello there lovely Buttoneers! If you tuned in last week for Tutorial Tuesday you may have seen my Peg Loom Weaving Tutorial – Part One. Well, my lovelies, here is part two!
I hope you got on okay with the start of basic weaving on a peg loom and in today’s half of the tutorial, I will show you how I tie off, add the dowel to create a wall hanging from the weaving and sewing in the loose side bits!
As I mentioned last week, I am certainly not an expert in Weaving but am passionate about it and wanted to share the basics so that you could join me in the crafty goodness!
So, without further ado, enjoy!
Phew! All done! Wasn’t that fun!? Did you have a go? More importantly did you have fun? Give me a shout if I missed anything or if you have a super-secret top tip for any of the steps that you might share for a cup of tea and some cake! Have you used a different kind of loom before? I am so intrigued by other looms that I am sure I need to investigate them!
I would love to see your weaving’s or even your links to awesome examples of weaving that you have come across. Am I a little obsessed!? Nah! Never!
Meet me for a chat with a cup of tea in the comments below. I’ll click the kettle on!
