Hello there lovely Buttoneers! I have a super fun Tutorial Tuesday craft D.I.Y. for you today – Simple Autumn Pom Pom Decor! I really wanted to bring some of the gorgeous autumnal colours and textures from my new garden into our home to enjoy day and night.
As soon as the daylight starts to fade in the afternoon, you lose the warm, rich colours of the crisp autumn leaves and the gorgeous textures of the bare tree branches; so I wanted to bring them into my home and brighten up the grey, gloomy days…
I wanted my project to be quick, easy and more importantly inexpensive (especially with Christmas just around the corner!) so I gathered supplies from my garden and the woods behind our house, grabbed some balls of autumnal coloured yarn and found a gorgeous vase to display them in. With a swish and flick of my glue gun (and a few globs of glue stuck to my desk later) I was super happy with my new home decor that I wanted to share it with you too!
If you are unsure about how to make the pom poms that are made for this tutorial, check out my Clover Pom Pom Maker Tutorial for step by step instructions!
So, without further ado…Here is my Simple Autumn Pom Pom Decor D.I.Y. craft tutorial…Enjoy!
I am so pleased with how this Simple Autumn Pom Pom Decor turned out! Any excuse to bring one of my favourite seasons indoors and I am all over it.
I really love the rich autumnal auburn and deep oranges that replicate the crisp leaves of autumn alongside the gorgeous tactile textures and varied colours of the sticks…
How did you get on? Did you use similar colours or did you choose your own to match your decor? Did you find any easier ways to make them? I would love to hear all about it and see photographs of your own versions! You can send them via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I might even feature them on my social media if you do!
Also, keep your eyes peeled for an Eliston Button Etsy Shop promotion coming very soon in Thursday’s blog post! Two in one week eh!? What a treat! 😉
