Hello here lovely Buttoneers! Today is the first Tutorial Tuesday feature on the blog! How exciting!? I have done a fair few tutorials before here at Eliston Button but I wanted them to have their own place to call home 🙂 I am really excited about this new post series and if you haven’t read my last post ‘The Start of Something New’ then I explain all there in a rather honest and personal (read: scary to post) blog.
I found a beautiful flamingo tote bag in Primark this summer for £1.50. As most of you know, especially if you follow me on Instagram, I have a soft spot for Flamingos, so for a bargain I couldn’t leave this behind.
My problem was that I am a bit of a handbag and tote bag
hoarder enthusiast and never get to use all of them and this one seemed far too pretty to get worn out carrying home my charity shop treasures or books full of adventures…
…I found an old frame and it was the perfect size…Hello Tote Bag Wall Art!
How fun does that look! I am so thrilled with my new wall art for the Eliston Button Headquarters! It’s bright and cheerful and features a flamingo in a funky upcycled frame! What more could you want!?
I would love to see if you had a go! What design would you chose on a tote bag? Have you ever made something ordinary into something extraordinary by upcycling!? I would love to hear all about it!
Meet me for a chat with a cup of tea in the comments below. I’ll click the kettle on!
