Good Morning Buttoneers! Its Workspace Wednesday time! Hurrah! This week I just wanted to drop in with a quick share of my new (and cheap as chips!) Washi Tape treasures. As you may know if you have visited before, I love love love Washi Tape. Do you remember when I shared My Washi Tape Collection way back in April? Well, I found some beauties recently…
These are my favourite, so much so that I think I may have to go back and buy another
pack basket full of them! hehe! They are from The Works and only 99p for three rolls! It is more like a paper tape than a true washi tape.
Washi tape is generally thinner and more translucent, but these are thicker and I don’t have to layer them for a bolder colour or to cover anything underneath.
I love these too, I found them in a shop called Cornucopia which I also featured in my first Button Colour Adventure post. They were a bargain at half price at £1.99 and I skipped home smiling!
I love that I can use the blue and yellow ones for my Etsy packaging or even when I write letters. I adore the purple retro inspired print one though, it is super fun and I love the bold flower motif.
These three beauties are from The Works again and were a steal at £1.99 for three (I also managed to use up my points from my loyalty card too! yeay! I really lacked purple colours in my washi tape collection so these were a perfect addition.
Finally, I found these two lovely washi tape goodies in Paperchase. I love Paperchase and the fact that these lovelies were 30% off makes me wish they had of had more colours left. Just like the first tapes on this post, they are paper tape. These ones are a little more translucent than before but I love the vibrant neon orange and just know that it will contrast fabulously in projects against the warm grey. I love the tones of these colours and they are different from any of my other similar colours so it was a perfect way of justifying this purchase! I also have a fun project in store for these two so keep your eyes peeled on Tutorial Tuesday next week!
Don’t you just love them all! I don’t think I will ever have enough Washi Tape and I will always find new ideas on how to use them! They are soooooo pretty and super versatile; I could totally sell Washi tape for a living! haha!
Have you found any crafty treasures recently? Can you share any crafty bargains you have found? I can’t wait to hear all about them!
